Seattle Police now say three officers were shot downtown Thursday afternoon.

Police said the officers were responding to an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven on the 600 block of First Avenue, near Pioneer Square.

"Officers caught up to the suspects within minutes," police said in a news release. "A struggle ensued and a male officer was struck in the head with a bottle."
